The economic output of the packaging industry in Germany occupies an important position with a production volume of around 200 billion packs and an annual turnover of almost 37 billion euros. Due to demographic developments and the mobilization of living and consumer conditions, the packaging industry is a growth market. The growth has averaged 3% for years. In addition, there is the production of the world's leading German packaging machine manufacturer and the packaging services of the consumer goods industry.
